Windows XP Embedded - Requirements
When should I use Windows XP Embedded?
You have these requirements:
- You need to boot from read-only media (CD-ROM), compact flash or USB memory sticks.
- You need to produce in numbers. A WinXPe Installation can be easily duplicated.
- You need Windows XP compatibility due to hardware or software issues but the system might be used unattended. Dialog and message boxes should be handled automatically.
- Only little hard disk space is available. WinXPe can fit on a 30 MB hard disk or compact flash disc.
