Multicore-Debugging with Virtualization-Awareness

Debugging of virtualized multicore systems is even more complicated. Debuggers now have to deal with the different OS running in parallel with communication and hardware for virtualization. A debugger needs knowledge about the operating systems, the virtualization, the mapping of the peripherals, cores, and memory of each guest. The lecture will show, how awareness for Jailhouse was brought into the Lauterbach debugger.

Simple operation of the ELBE Tool with ElbeFrontend
For an easy handling of the open source tool ELBE by Linutronix emtrion developed a graphical user interface.
It was developed within a student project.
The Code and the AppImage for ElbeFrontend are now available for Download on GitHub.

At the ESE congress at Sindelfingen, macio presents the use case "plant world" in cooperation with emtrion.
This use case shows what can arise on the basis of the macio-embedded toolbox "mbedded Toolkit".
The hardware is built on emtrion's single board computer emSBC-Neon-CM4.
