Senior Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d)

Starting date: Immediately
Working hours: Full-time

Tasks

You develop and configure Board Support Packages (BSP) for embedded Linux boards in coordination with the customer and in the team (Linux knowledge is mandatory)
Your tasks include the commissioning of hardware including the adaptation/porting of bootloaders and operating systems (Linux, Android) as well as the creation of device trees
You develop hardware-related software for ARM processors (ARM Cortex Ax and Mx)
You gather requirements for a product together with customers, create concepts and specifications and implement the requirements in work packages
You carry out analyses and debugging using various techniques such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, JTAG debuggers
You work independently and with a high level of customer orientation in interdisciplinary, agile teams

Profile

You are enthusiastic about embedded systems and enjoy working with modern software technologies
You have good knowledge of the embedded Linux and industrial Android environment
You feel comfortable in Linux-based environments (preferably Debian and Yocto)
You have experience with ARM architecture (microcontrollers and Cortex Ax and Mx processors) and bootloaders
Knowledge of embedded systems (operating system, compiler, code generation and C/C++)
You use your good programming skills in embedded C/C++ skillfully
You are confident in using versioning tools such as Git (version management systems)
You have gained experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
You are confident in dealing with customers and manage development projects independently
You speak very good German (mother tongue) and English
