Software Features

emtrion is designing this Yocto developer kit to help you design your application quickly and efficiently, and evaluate it directly on the hardware.

The developer kit comes with a couple of prebuilt binaries running at the target SBC-RZN1D. The delivery includes RFS images with SysVinit and systemd support.

The interfaces and technologies supported by this developer kit can be found below in the section Drivers.

  • emtrion Yocto-Layer: meta-emtrion-rzn1
  • Toolchain: gcc-9.3.0, binutils 2.34, chain for cross compiling arm-poky-linux-gnueabi
  • Kernel: Renesas rzn1-stable, based on v4.9.0
  • Multimedia and Qt5 support: on request

With the emtrion meta-layer you are able to build all the significant binaries such as bootloader, kernel, root filesystem, ramdisk and SDK for the Dev Kit.
