emtrion develops Computer-on-Module with STM32MP1

Very soon, the series production of the emSTAMP Argon Module with new Multicore-Processor STM32MP157 gets started. We already reveal some features of this module to you.

STMicroelectronics, the world's leading semiconductor supplier, unveiled its STM32MP1 multi-core microprocessor series in February this year with STM's first heterogeneous system architecture.

emtrion is developing a powerful module ideal for graphics, communications and industrial IoT – the emSTAMP Argon. The integrated cores of the Dual Cortex-A7 and the Cortex-M4 enable real-time functions in combination with an energy-saving operation.

The Cortex-M4-core uses the ecosystem of the STM32-MCU. Optimize your Arm Cortex-M4 based embedded solution now with the STM32MP1 including more computing power.
The emSTAMP Argon Module supports the operating systems Android and Linux.
Optionally, emtrion offers complementary services for the emSTAMP Argon module, such as virtualization with Jailhouse or an individual security solution.
