The development of individual embedded solutions requires innovative and diverse knowledge of software and hardware. emtrion can draw on a wealth of experience from numerous development projects. Our hardware and software specialists are therefore very familiar with the latest solution approaches. You can rely on our expertise. We will be happy to advise you on your individual project, take over the planning for you or provide your employees with training on new system solutions.

IT Consulting from emtrion - How does the process work?

Working with us is as uncomplicated as can be. We focus entirely on your situation and your individual needs. You will feel this in every step of the process:

In an initial contact meeting, you describe your project or the problem that needs to be solved. Don’t worry: you don’t have to prepare extensively for this meeting. We will gather all the necessary information together during the dialog.

You can also count on our support for the second step: If you are not yet able to provide a detailed list of requirements, we will develop or supplement it during a short web conference.

Our aim is to define the requirements for the hardware and software completely, in detail and precisely in a specification sheet. Each individual requirement should be prioritized according to must/shall/can. This is important because the requirements are often interdependent or influence each other. The requirements specification is often presented as a clear table.

If you wish, we will be happy to organize a workshop with your specialists – as a video call or face-to-face event – to work out the specifications.

How does the concept creation process work as part of IT consulting?

Proposed solution and an initial rough estimate of our costs.

If you agree with the proposed solution, you will receive our offer via a specification phase. This usually takes place within a few working days and includes the following elements:

    • Precise specification of the hardware and software requirements
    • Definition of the task packages
    • Project schedule
    • Precise cost estimation

If you accept our offer, we’ll get started. First, we create the detailed concept. Our aim is to ensure that the various hardware and software components are optimally coordinated and that the solution is as efficient and reliable as possible.

In hardware development, we start with the circuit diagram and layout. You receive an initial prototype. Following your feedback, we refine this and, if necessary, produce a second revision. Finally, we have the prototype certified (if necessary or desired) and start series production.

Expert panels in IT workshops and their advantages

Workshops create synergies. When your specialists and our experts work together to analyze requirements and discuss solutions, the result is more than just the sum of the individual contributions. Our expert panels have proven themselves hundreds of times over.

One reason for this is that we design the workshops individually, depending on the subject area, your expertise and your need for internal knowledge building.
